Second release for the new imprint of Amsterdam hero Cinnaman :
It was a crazy year of radical change, that has also affected the label and its curator for the choice of this release. For the second EP label founder Yuri Boselie, aka Cinnaman, dives into deep listening territories with the five track “Kingfisher” EP. With two guest contributions by Oko Ebombo and Tom Trago, he completed a refined and well-rounded dreamy ambient narrative.
The first track ‘Verité' is the exciting collaboration with the Parisian street jazz artist Oko Ebombo. It originated two years ago as Oko came to Amsterdam for a friendly visit, resulting in a weekend long musical session that produced this blissful slow house trip.
With Visible Spectrum — defined as the electromagnetic frequencies visible by the human eye — a new chapter is born. It is an outlet for electronic music in the widest sense.
Each sleeve will have its own unique screen printed artwork by Marilyn Sonneveld.

About the video:
A Night Drive. The story of two brothers on a night drive in Amsterdam. Caught in a perpetual nocturnal loop with elements of abstraction and surrealism characterising the drive. The streets are predominantly empty with only a few nondescript passersby engaged in strange and abstract happenings on the same corner. Nothing really makes sense. Timelines are not linear but fragmented. An air of mysticism paints the overall vibe of the video.
Elements of surrealism slowly build as the video progresses. Shot primarily inside the car the viewer only catches small glimpses of the outside world from inside - always on the exact same street corner. This corner will be the only glimpse into the outside world, with different characters occupying that space differently throughout the video, the background stays the same.
The two musicians never exit the car. Behind closed doors, the interior of the car serves as an analogy of Oko and Cinnaman’s frame of mind. The energy builds, as the video progresses. Toward the end the feeling of surrealism and the sense of the loop reaches a climax before the car finally finds a way out. We realise they’ve been going in circles but they’ve now escaped.
